Scene 4: Fibre De Verre (3 Proposals)

As Collins explains, he is to inherit the Cabaret Bennette. Accordingly, he thinks it proper to marry one of the lovely Bennettes. But much to his dismay, Collins discovers that neither Jane nor Lizzy has any interest in his ardent proposals. At last, he settles on Charlotte. Caroline, Bingley, and Darcy return. At Cabaret Bennette, the girls know how to dance in that new 20’s style. While the Bennette girls and Collins shimmy away, the Brits try to keep up with their old-world waltzing.
